Privacy notice

Last updated 22 September 2026

This notice explains what we collect when you use ggstudios.org, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. The short version: we only collect what you choose to send us, and we only use it to reply.

Who we are

GG Studios (“we”, “us”) is a video game development studio and publisher based in the United Kingdom. We run this website. For anything to do with your data, email contact@ggstudios.org.

What we collect

When you use the contact form we receive your name, email address, the topic you pick, your message and, if you add it, your studio or company name. Please don’t send sensitive information such as passwords, payment details or health information.

If you email or call us directly, we receive whatever you include in that email or call.

How we use it

Only to read your enquiry, reply to it and keep a record of the conversation. We don’t sell your data, share it for marketing or add you to mailing lists.

Our lawful basis under UK data protection law is legitimate interests: responding to messages you choose to send us.

Where it’s stored

This website is hosted by Netlify, which processes and stores contact form submissions on our behalf before they reach our inbox. Netlify may process data outside the UK, including in the United States, under appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

Only as long as we need to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up conversation. After that we delete it.

Cookies and analytics

This site doesn’t use tracking cookies, advertising or third-party analytics. Our host keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security and reliability.

Other websites

Links to X, YouTube and Discord take you to services with their own privacy policies. We’re not responsible for how they handle your data.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email contact@ggstudios.org and we’ll respond within one month. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we change how we handle data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
